'What happened?' Chakotay asked as he ran into Sickbay.

'I'm afraid Seven is dead,' the Doctor told him.

'What? How?'

'I'll let the Captain explain that to you,' he said, leaving the room to give them some privacy.

'I reversed into her Chakotay. I was in a car on the Holodeck, learning to drive, and I reversed the car into her.'

'Didn't the safeties work?' he asked, confused.

'I, umm… accidentally turned them off.' She paused. 'I love you.'

Later that evening, Chakotay stood in his quarters, straightening the final picture he'd put up that day. Of a car.
